Prunes Brownies

Senang banget nyobain resep dari Joy of Baking nih :) Selain gampang, ternyata cocok banget resepnya sama selera keluarga si resep browniesnya.  Pembuatan brownies yang tanpa menggunakan mixer, juga sangat menyenangkan...kadang klo saya pake mixer suka kelamaan ngocok, padahal itu dilarang banget dalam brownies kalau kelamaan ngocok, si telur janganlah sampe mengembang...ntar jadinya cake dong....he he...
Dan karena sedang mengurangi yang berbentuk FAT, he he...saya pakai Canolla butter dan telur free range, yang low kolestrol...ternyata rasanya enak-enak aja tuh....he he...

Ini dia resepnya, saya padukan dengan Prunes, plum yang dikeringkan atau bisa dibilang manisan plum...yum...yummm...enak banget! :D

PRUNES BROWNIES

Ingredient :

  • 140 grams semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chopped (...Lindt Dark Cooking Chocolate...Ike)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) (113 grams) unsalted butter cut into pieces (...Canolla butter...Ike)
  • 2 tablespoons (15 grams) cocoa powder (..milo powder...Ike)
  • 1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar (...175 gr raw sugar...Ike)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs (...free range eggs...Ike)
  • 3/4 cup (95 grams) all-purpose flour (...plain flour...Ike)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup (125 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional) (...skip...Ike)
  • 100 gr pitted prunes (dried plum) ...Ike


Directions :
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) and place the rack in the center of the oven. Butter (or spray with a nonstick cooking spray) an 8 inch (20 cm) square pan.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a large stainless steel bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa powder and sugar . 
  • Next, whisk in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 
  • Finally, stir in the flour, salt and chocolate chips (if using).
  • Pour into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a little batter and a few moist clumps clinging to it.
  • Do not over bake. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack. 
  • Serve at room temperature or chilled. These freeze very well.
Makes 16 brownies.

Catatan pawonike :
---> Masukkan plum di saat-saat terakhir, tergantung selera, mau plum di dalam atau topping saja, kalau saya sih campur, ada yang di dalam dan ada yang topping....
Saya memakai loyang rectangle pyrex, ukuran 15x30, dan itu pas banget untuk tingkat ketebalan browniesnya....



Rasanya legit, dan saya paling suka tipe brownies yang di luar garing dan basah di dalam....:)
